Do you see what an amazing world we live in now? Ahh .. amazing!
But sometimes, we think so much about what we want that we forget how fortunate we are with what we already have!
For example, I did not see colour television until 1982! There was no television in the village where I grew up. And in fact, the very first television in my village was one that I brought there, from Delhi. It was a 14-inch black and white TV that had to be hooked up to a 12-volt car battery.
Can you imagine such a thing now?
Oh, but I remember how amused and amazed I was at my first look at television, the stories and the images from a whole new world!
I am still amazed at the world of possibilities that awaits us all, and very grateful for all the wonderful things we already have.ย
These days, we all hold televisions in our hands and call them โphones!โ Amazing.
I wonder, what will be the next thing to amuse and amaze us all? I look forward to experiencing these things, but not at the expense of being grateful for what I already have.
